Du Gao

Du is a rising fourth-year majoring in Commerce. He joined the VCC in his first semester and has since led teams to compete in eight case competitions.

This June, he will join the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in the Washington, D.C. office as a Summer Associate. Previously, he has interned with with Warner Bros. Entertainment in Los Angeles, CA as a Trade Marketing (Pricing & Promotions) Intern, and with Aetna, a CVS Health Company, in Hartford, CT as a Finance Summer Associate on one of the integration teams.

In his free time, Du enjoys finding the best espresso in Charlottesville, binge watching the Food Network, and hiking. 

Kevin Miner

Executive Vice President

Kevin is a rising fourth-year majoring in Commerce and Economics with a minor in Statistics. He joined the fall of his second year after placing in two case competitions his 1st year. Since then, Kevin has gone on to compete in five more competitions and has placed 1st or 2nd in four of them.

Over the summer, Kevin worked for EY as a Financial Consultant intern in the New York office. Before that, Kevin interned at Franklin Templeton in their investment management division for ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Chang Cheng

Vice President, External

Chang is a rising fourth-year majoring in Economics and Computer Science. She joined VCC in the first semester of her second year.

This summer, she will be an Associate Consultant Intern with MasterCard in the Washington, D.C. office. Last summer, she interned as an IT Advisory Intern with PwC in the Hamburg, Germany office.

Veena Ramesh

Vice President, Internal

Veena is a rising fourth-year Computer Science and Cognitive Science double major at U.Va., hoping to pursue a career in data science and artificial intelligence. She joined VCC during her second year, competing and placing in several case competitions, including Deloitte’s Undergraduate case competition and the Bain’s Women case competition, with her fellow VCC peers.

During previous summers, she has worked at data science consulting companies as a data science intern. Currently, she is working on creating a natural language processing library via PRAAT, a software made for speech analysis.

Jenny Ding

Director of Finance

Jenny is a rising fourth-year majoring in Economics and Statistics. She joined VCC last fall and completed several case competitions in the spring.

The past summer, she interned with PwC as a Transfer Pricing Intern. In her past summers, she has worked with Children’s Cancer Clinic and the Intensive Care Unit at VCU Hospital. She has also conducted research on cancer drug discovery at a biochemistry lab in the UVA School of Medicine.

In her free time, Jenny enjoys competitive ballroom dancing and backpacking in Dolly Sods.

Sreya Maram

Director of Logistics

Sreya is a rising second-year planning to study Computer Science and Commerce. She joined VCC her first semester at UVA and has already participated in four competitions, and placed in the top three every time. Hoping to immerse herself in business and data-driven environments, she spent this summer as a Finance Intern at Apcela, an IT company. Currently, she’s helping build an online coding school start-up and is researching how COVID-19 has absolutely transformed one of her favorite things to do: shopping. Her other random interests also include acrylic painting, Roger Federer, late night comedy, and Twitter. 

Evan Stavig

Director of Marketing

Evan is a rising third-year majoring in Economics and Spanish. He joined the team in his second year and has the pleasure of competing in several case competitions with VCC.

In his past two summers, Evan has interned at Norton Agency, a small Chicago-based advertising agency in their Strategy Department. Working with advertising strategists, Evan has wielded data and consumer insights into a variety of successful campaigns for healthcare and financial services clients. In a part-time position during the school year, Evan helps Norton with their client’s social media metric tracking.

Victoria Estacio

Fourth Year Advisor

Victoria is a rising fourth-year majoring in Commerce, concentrating in Finance and Management. Victoria joined VCC in her first semester and has served as Director of Marketing and Recruitment, Director of Development, and Senior Advisor.

Over the summer, Victoria worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Capital Markets Accounting Advisory practice. In her free time, she enjoys hiking around the Shenandoah National Park and exploring Charlottesville’s foodie scene.
